Counselling

Janice has worked in the field of mental health and addiction for most of her adult life. She specializes in disordered eating, addiction, anxiety and depression.

I believe that self-awareness is a super-power and that we’re all doing the best we can, given the circumstances that confront us. The better we know ourselves and understand how we tick, the more we'll be in the driver’s seat of our own lives. Many of us go through life on autopilot, repeating the same old patterns, spinning our wheels, blaming others and judging ourselves harshly for the choices we make. But we can be in charge - our own choice-maker.  By seeing ourselves clearly and then thoughtfully changing self-defeating patterns, we gradually become more skillful and content with our lives. In order to achieve this, I utilize many modalities during sessions with clients. It would be my great honor to help you to explore your true nature and to feel more content wtih the direction of your life.

Benefits of counselling with Janice include:

  • Resolve disordered eating patterns
  • Alleviate depression and balance your mood
  • Reduce anxiety and build your capacity to cope effectively
  • Be empowered to meet your longings
  • Find inner peace and freedom from limiting beliefs and behavior patterns
